A Brief History of Our Farm
Sycamore Farms was purchased in 1979 by Henry and Susan Smith who were looking for a place to raise their young family.
This family eventually included three daughters and one son. Susan and Henry soon began attending Greenmarkets throughout the tri-state area while focusing on Union Square Greenmarket in Manhattan.
Until recently this market has been the only way to obtain the produce cultivated at Sycamore Farms. Now, local residents can obtain this top notch produce directly from the farm via their CSA, Share of the Harvest.
