A Share of the Harvest at Sycamore Farms 2009

Thank you for your interest in A Share of the Harvest.  This is a way in which we are able to efficiently distribute the freshest available produce, grown locally on our farm, to local consumers.  This is the third growing season that we are offering shares in our farm.  So far we have seen strong support from our local community and we hope the idea is spreading. 

When you purchase a share you are provided with enough produce to feed four people or more for a week.  You can pick up your share which is comprised of the freshest seasonal items available every Tuesday at our farm.  This program runs from roughly June 9th with some strawberries, until October 27th with winter squash and pumpkins.  Half shares are also available. 

In addition to your weekly share, there are times when we have an abundance of a crop such as corn or tomatoes.  During such times members are contacted to pick up bulk amounts of produce which is included in your membership.  You'll love this when you open your freezer next winter and have great food to work with.  To see the produce that we grow and when it is available please check our produce list.
